the Boss truck

this truck is a 1949 ford f-5 and man it could haul anything i had a truck just like this one and i put anything on it from stacks of wood to small cars and or car part i onence put a 19 foot camper on mine well when i got my truck it was a fire truck for the city where i lived and it was sitting so long that the fire equipment on the back was not repairable so i took it all off so all i had was a cab on the fram but the cab was in very good shape it dident need much work at all no it dident run but with some work i got it to run and it ran good so after that well i dident have anything on the back so my Dad said lets bild a real good flatbed on the back so i thout about it OK lets so it took alot of work but we did it the bed was 18 feet long and 7 foot wide ya it was big then my dad said so lets paint the cab i thout he was crazzy he said no lets paint it so i said ok if you what to so we sanded it did a little bodywork nothing fancy and we painted it yellow not to brite not to light with black fenders the truck looked good i meen it wasent a prize winer or anything it just looked good ya it took us a year and 9 mouths to be able to use it but when it was done we used it for everything put the side bords up on the sides and i could move everything out of a 1 bedroom apartment ya i meen everying and the truck would take it to up any hill it any weather no you dident go fast it was only good for 45 mph thats it but it could haul anything you wanted with no trouble and when you drove this truck down the road you was the Boss sitting in the seat of that truck you was 5 feet off the ground and looking out the cab of that truck man thar wasent anything like it   it was Big and what a stering wheel you had to have some arms to turn that truck shifting it was fun you had to pust the clucth 2 times to get it in the next gear i just cant tell you how much fun it was to drive thet truck well i dont have it any more i miss it it was alot of fun haveing something like that and it was older then me
